About

Dr. Turbatus

“My name is Dr. Turbatus, the country’s leading expert on Restless Nurse Syndrome and inventor of Lacidem. What have you done?”

Dr. Turbatus was born in Omaha, Nebraska to the famous botanist couple Mr. and Mrs. Turbatus. Sadly at the tender age of five Mr. and Mrs. Turbatus went missing on a botanical tour of Peru. After that Dr. Turbatus went to live with his “Nanna,” the head nurse at a local Omaha hospital.

Despite the tragic disappearance of his parents Dr. Turbatus enjoyed a happy childhood until a mysterious disease began to affect his Nanna. Shortly after she passed away Dr. Turbatus decided right then and there to dedicate his life to discovering what was bothering his Nanna. Dr. Turbatus followed in his Nanna’s footsteps and attended medical school at Harvark University and interned at the Juan Hopkins University. After years of research he reached a breakthrough and discovered Restless Nurse Syndrome. The real work was just beginning.

Nanna

In spite of his best intentions his research was at a standstill. Unbeknownst to Dr. Turbatus, fate would soon step in. While on a nature walk, desperate for subjects, he noticed a restless squirrel running to and fro. That’s when he hypothesized that squirrels would make excellent test subjects. They are just like people, aside from the fact that they have never gone to nursing school or even have jobs, or can read or talk or… well anyway, they proved to be very good test subjects. Little did Dr. Turbatus know his next roadblock was right around the corner.
As good of subjects as squirrels were at replicating the Restless Nurse Syndrome symptoms, Dr. Turbatus faced many difficulties. For starters, the lab squirrels were not always cooperative. They would often bite and scratch and some of them did not even like doctors. In addition to the physical challenges, clinical progress was slow. Soon however, fate would again intervene. On his annual trip to Peru to find his lost parents he discovered a strange breed of squirrels that were not restless. This led to his discovery of the Snoitulos compound found in the Snoitulos dandelion. The Snoitulos compound was vital in Dr. Turbatus’ development of Lacidem, the cure for Restless Nurse Syndrome.

After a series of successful experiments on the lab squirrel subjects he began testing Lacidem on restless nurses. He soon realized that with nurses however, travel nursing jobs from Medical Solutions must also be included in the treatment. After travel nursing was introduced into the treatment of his test subjects, their Restless Nurse Syndrome symptoms disappeared.

Dr. Turbatus’ mission in life is to bring the Restless Nurse Syndrome cure to nurses around the world. On a personal note he is a huge Michael McDonald fan and a member of the Squirrel Preservation Organization.
